Responsibilities of personnel at the site



 1,Project manager: -
 is a person responsible for managing the whole site work execution. He is also responsible for 
making payment to sub contract workers, approving material request, analyzing work process, executing sub-contracting 
agreements and issues the grant of higher power of working class etc.

 2,Office engineer: -
 is the second power holder in the contractor side. He is responsible for preparing daily labors 
output reports, organizing monthly report to be sent, scheduling weekly or monthly work implementation checking and 
reviewing any sub contract payments and quantifies any materials on request etc.

 3,Site engineer: -
Control execution of project
 - Check material measurement 

 4,General foreman: -
on a smaller project a general foreman may be assigned to organize and lead the work. The 
foreman should have extensive labor, material and schedule.

 5,Data collector: -
is a person responsible for collecting any data for the project, reporting the daily activities to site or 
office engineer and also preparing monthly summary report etc.

 6,Store keeper: -
is a person responsible for controlling, managing and register all materials which are going out/in to 
the store and also balancing the material consumed with the unconsumed one etc.

7, Time keeper: -
is a person responsible for controlling the time workers stats, breaks and ends. He is responsible for 
register ordinary time amount and over time works.

8, Gang leaders: -
is a person responsible for controlling group of daily labors in a specific activity, assigning laborers 
to activities and reporting any difficulties to general foreman.

9, Skilled man power: -
 those are carpenters, masons, mixer operators… etc.

 10,Daily laborers: -
are unskilled man workers who work as assigned on a specific activity.

 11,Guards: -
 is responsible for keeping the site safe and follow activity of the site.

 12,Driver: -
includes small to large truck drivers. Transports purchased materials.

13, Machines: -
operate, fix and maintain different machineries on the site like, vibrator, mixer, generator, loader, dozer, 
excavator… etc
